"Last year our college had Sidin Vadukut come over to give us a few pointers on becoming professional writer. His talk on how writing as a profession can be vastly different from writing for fun was enlightening. In fact it was his suggestion that we should probably start writing blogs first, see how that goes, whether we are comfortable with churning out a couple of pages a day regardless of our imaginative constraints(Wow that was oxymoronic!) .
